5th meeting of the management board of the TKAEDiTE took place today.

The meeting began with Fisnik from LNU, who presented the Sustainable Plan Deliverable, a roadmap designed to ensure that the project’s impact would endure long after its completion. Fisnik’s presentation resonated with a forward-thinking approach, emphasizing the importance of embedding sustainable practices within education systems.

Building National Collaboration

Next, Arsim Susuri from the University of Prizren took the stage to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with KREN to establish a National Repository. This repository promises to become a central hub for educational resources, bridging gaps and fostering knowledge sharing across institutions. This repository represents a step toward unifying educational efforts on a national scale.

STEAM Innovation and Teacher Empowerment

From Finland’s Oulu University, Jari Laru brought the audience into the dynamic world of STEAM activities. His presentation highlighted collaborative initiatives that have introduced creative and interdisciplinary teaching methods in classrooms across Kosovo and Albania, sparking inspiration for students and educators alike.

This was followed by Antigona Uka from KCDE, who detailed the ongoing training of teachers in utilizing online learning resources. Her words painted a picture of classrooms being reshaped, where educators feel confident navigating the digital landscape, and students benefit from enriched, modernized teaching methods.

Charting the Path Forward

As the session progressed, Krenare Pireva Nuci from the University of Prishtina took the lead, presenting updates on the status of project deliverables and outlining a meticulous plan for the project’s final year. She spoke with clarity and determination, addressing approvals, procurement processes, and key milestones that would steer the initiative to completion. Later, she delivered the mid-term report, a reflection on achievements and challenges that underscored the progress made thus far.

Collaboration Across Borders

Discussions turned international when Ali Shariq Imran from NTNU shared insights on the planned NTNU visit and its significance for the ongoing work packages (WPs). His narrative tied together the collaborative efforts of various institutions, highlighting the synergy driving the project forward.

Elinda Krasniqi from UBT followed, focusing on the future of WP 5, while Kyvete Shatri from the University of Prishtina expanded on the vision for WP 6. Both presenters emphasized the importance of aligning upcoming activities with the project’s overarching goals, ensuring seamless execution.

The session concluded with a discussion on other pressing matters, bringing to light additional points of interest and strategies to address them. The participants’ collective passion and dedication were palpable, leaving no doubt that this was more than a series of presentations—it was a gathering of changemakers, united by a shared commitment to reshaping education.
