The second day of the workshops as part of STEMA activities shifts the focus to educators, specifically K1-12 teachers, with sessions designed to promote inclusivity in STEAM education. The LNU team will then present on universal design and accessibility, emphasizing the importance of adapting teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs. Following this, teachers will collaborate on designing a curriculum that integrates inclusive practices and apply digital tools to identify and assess accessibility issues. The event concludes with a comprehensive wrap-up session at 1:00 PM, aimed at reinforcing key lessons and providing resources for continued professional development.

K1-12 educators are convening at the University of Prizren for a series of impactful workshops. Facilitated by the Oulu team and led by esteemed experts, including Professor Jari Laru and Professor Liris Kivioja, these sessions are centered on the practical application of STE(A)M methodologies.

The workshops commence with foundational training in graphical programming using mBots and 3D modeling, setting the stage for deeper learning. Participants then transition to an in-depth exploration of the “Generation AI” project, an initiative funded by Finland’s Strategic Research Science Council. This segment introduces teachers to teachable machine tools, empowering them to integrate AI-based learning enhancements into their classrooms. The day will conclude at 2:30 PM with a reflective discussion, fostering a platform for participants to exchange insights and consolidate their learning.

These workshops, integral to the larger TKAEDiTE initiative, are actively enhancing the educational landscape by equipping both students and teachers with essential skills and knowledge for a digitally enriched future.
