On October 17, 2024, the Kosovo Erasmus+ Office organized a thematic cluster meeting on “Digitalization in Higher Education” at the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation in Pristina. The event brought together key stakeholders to discuss the role of digital transformation in improving higher education in Kosovo.

The meeting was moderated by Mrs. Mimika Dobroshi, the Coordinator of the Kosovo Erasmus+ Office (KEO). Mrs. Dobroshi delivered the introductory remarks, setting the stage for the discussions by highlighting the importance of integrating digital technology into the educational systems of Kosovo and Albania.

Professor Arsim Susuri from the University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren, on behalf of the coordinator of the project, Professor Krenare Pireva Nuci, introduced the Erasmus+ project “Transforming the Kosovo and Albanian Education System by introducing Digital Technology in Teacher Education (TKAEDiTE)”. His presentation focused on how this project aimed to improve teacher education by incorporating digital tools and methods, thus helping to modernize the teaching practices in both Kosovo and Albania.

The meeting provided participants with valuable insights into how Erasmus+ projects are contributing to the digitalization of higher education, offering strategies to improve the overall education system in the region.
