Study visit in University of Oulu
From the 14th of May until the 16th of May 2024, as part of work package 3 of the TKAEDiTE project, a study visit is being carried out at the University of Oulu, where participants from partners from Kosovo and Albania are holding workshops in STEAM/FabLab, EdTech, Recording of educational materials, etc.
On the first day, the group of visitors embarked on a guided tour of the campus. They explored the innovative Media Cubes, witnessed the latest offerings from laptop vendors, and delved into the Faculty of Education and Psychology (FEP), where groundbreaking research is taking place. The tour also included the University Library.
Later on, the same day, the visitors gathered once more at Tellus Brisk for the opening of the study visit. Dr. Maija Lanas, Dean of the Faculty of Education, who warmly welcomed them, setting the stage for a day of exploration and enlightenment.
In the afternoon, the group ventured to FabLab Oulu on the Linnanmaa Campus. Here, they engaged in a hands-on workshop on 2D design and vinyl cutting, immersing themselves in the world of digital fabrication and creativity.
The workshop continues its 2nd day on the 15th of May 2024.
