Workshop on “Policy Document for Populating Online Learning Resources (OLR) in National Repository” Online Event Hosted by UBT and UPT
The University for Business and Technology (UBT) and the Polytechnic University of Tirana (UPT) are hosting a virtual workshop on January 24, 2025, titled “Policy Document for Populating Online Learning Resources (OLR) in National Repository”.
This event will feature a series of expert-led sessions and discussions. Mr. Atif Basani from KREN from MASHTI will be sharing insights on “Best Practices for Populating KREN with OLRs.”
As the discussion progresses, Nelda Kote will be highlighting Albania’s initiatives in Open Learning Resources, fostering a collaborative and forward-looking atmosphere.
The schedule weaves through enriching discussions, a brief coffee break, and thought-provoking sessions, including a spotlight on the University of Prishtina’s Faculty of Education’s journey with OLRs, presented by Krenare Pireva Nuci.
Later, Engin Kursun brings lessons from Turkey’s National Repository Initiative, tying in critical perspectives on quality frameworks.
Afterwards, the first version of the OLR created by UniSoft Company (contracted by the University of Prizren) will be presented.
Best EU Practices of Policy for Populating Repositories with OLR’s practices will be presented by Visar Hoxha from UBT. Discussions and collaboration remain at the heart of the event, culminating in a dialogue on refining the OLR framework. The day will conclude with the exchange of ideas and a collective commitment to advancing digital education in the region
