Prof. Assoc. Dr. Blerim Saqipi has been a teacher at the Faculty of Education since 2007. He completed his doctorate in education at the University of Jyvaskyla in Finland with a focus on the development of teachers’ professionalism in the context of deep educational reform. He completed his master’s studies at the University of Lethbridge in Alberta, Canada in the field of education. He teaches courses in the field of research methods and educational policies. He has been a member of various mechanisms within the University of Pristina (University Quality Council, Doctorate Council at the Faculty) and at the level of the education system (Teacher Licensing State Council, Matura State Council, Scientific Council of the Pedagogical Institute of Kosovo, etc.). Since 2017, he is a member of the board of the journal Center for Education Policy Studies (indexed in SCOPUS) at the University of Ljubljana. The field of interest in the research work focuses on the study of educational policies, with an emphasis on school development and teacher preparation policies and their relationship with the professional and social dimensions of the education system.
